Wellington-originated investment platform provider, FNZ, has launched a new global distribution support business for funds management clients.
In a release last month, FNZ says the newly formed Asset Management Solutions (AMS) unit would connect “the end-to-end wealth value chain by providing distribution-focused services for asset managers and personalized asset management solutions”.
“This will include identifying and capitalizing on AMS opportunities with existing customers, developing go-to-market plans for new markets, and supporting regional platform CEOs and their teams with AMS sales, integration, and operations,” the statement says.
Adam Green, co-founder of fixed income portfolio management tech firm, YieldX, will lead the FNZ AMS division after joining the firm earlier this year as head of asset management for North America.
FNZ bought YieldX in January as part of the group’s expansion into US territory but the new role gives Green broader global responsibilities.
“[Green] will establish and manage the global organization structure for AMS to ensure efficient execution and alignment across regions,” the release says.
As at publication date, FNZ had not confirmed whether the new AMS service would be available to NZ clients.
Since taking on new institutional investors in 2018 – with more tipping in capital in 2022 – the now London-headquartered FNZ has made multiple acquisitions in Europe and the US.
Earlier this year, FNZ also celebrated a homecoming of sorts by incorporating the main global business entity in NZ.
